All of the presentations in class were effective in promoting their given campaign, but I felt like Noah's campaign about politics in the media was the most effective presentation. He used tons of sources to promote his campaign that most people have never heard of. The app Crowdfire automatically follows people that are active in topics that interest you. Not only did he promote his campaign that way but when a person follows you back on twitter Crowdfire sends them a direct message saying that it was powered by Crowdfire and sent the link to his Tumblr account. He also retweeted his tweets from his project #3 account from his personal Twitter and class Twitter accounts. I think that Noah's topic was the the perfect fit for social media to be his promoting platform. I think that his topic already had a preexisting audience so it was easier to promote and be effective within his campaign. On his Twitter he also conducted polls asking questions that pertained to his topic this was an effective way to not only promote his campaign but get an unbiased opinion about topics within his campaign. Even though his campaign didn’t result in a ton of followers or likes I still think that his presentation was the most effective in the promotion of his campaign.
